PRIVACY POLICY

KBX Nutrition is the data controller for the information described here. This page says what we hold, why, who else sees it, and what you can make us do about it.
What we collect
- You give us: name, email, phone number, delivery address, and anything you write to us or post in the members' area.
- From your orders: what you bought, when, subscription status and delivery history. We never see or store your full card number — payments are handled by Shopify.
- Automatically: IP address, device and browser, pages viewed, and how you reached us, including any referral or campaign tag in the link you clicked.
Why we are allowed to hold it
- To perform our contract with you — taking payment, sending your order, running your subscription, and sending service messages such as payment reminders and delivery updates.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the site secure, preventing fraud, and understanding how the site is used.
- Consent — marketing emails, SMS and WhatsApp. You choose these and you can withdraw at any time.
- Legal obligation — keeping sales and tax records for as long as the law requires.
Service messages about a live subscription are part of the contract, not marketing, so they continue while your subscription is active. Unsubscribing from marketing does not switch off your payment reminders — that would leave you worse off.
Cookies and tracking — what actually runs
Nothing that tracks you loads until you say yes. When you first visit we ask, and if you decline, none of the tools below are loaded at all — not switched off afterwards, simply never started.
If you accept, these load:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 — how the site is used, which pages people read, where visits come from.
- Meta Pixel — measures whether our advertising works, and sends data to Meta.
Alongside these, essential cookies keep you signed in, keep your basket, and remember a referral code through checkout. Those are needed to run the service you asked for, so they are always on and are not covered by the question above.
Declining will not stop you buying anything or affect your subscription in any way. You can also clear your choice by clearing this site's data in your browser, and we will ask again.
Who else sees your data
We use these companies to run the business. They only get what they need for their part:
- Shopify — checkout, payments, orders
- Recharge — subscriptions and recurring payments
- Supabase — our database and sign-in
- Resend — sending email
- Cloudflare — hosting and protecting the site
- Google — analytics, and sign-in if you use "continue with Google"
- Meta — advertising measurement
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
Some of these companies are based outside the UK. Where data leaves the UK it is protected by the safeguards required by UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Account and subscription data is kept while your account is open. Marketing contact details are removed when you withdraw consent. Analytics data is kept on the retention schedule set in the tools above.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of what we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your data, where we are not required to keep it
- stop or limit how we use it, including all marketing
- hand your data to you or another provider in a portable format
Email info@kbxnutrition.com and we will deal with it within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first, but it is your right either way.
Children
Our products are not for under-18s and this site is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18.
